Summer, In Season
Our fawn champion — a daughter of Echo, mother of Pepper, and the heart of the nursery this Christmas as she whelps her final litter.
Summer's pedigree reads like a history of the breed in America: her sire, Telstar's Starmaker, and grandsire Mephisto's Vendetta anchor lines that reach back to Mephisto's High Noon in 1972. She has lived up to them — an American championship, rally and CGC titles, and a daughter, Pepper, already carrying the line forward. This December, Summer whelps her final litter with Bandit — "A Christmas to Remember" in our Nursery — before a well-earned retirement.
Boxer ARVC2 genetic testing (NC State): Negative — Summer does not carry the ARVC2 mutation (tested May 5, 2022).
Summer's daughters Pepper (Rams Destined To Wynn) and Ember (Rams Set The Ring On Fire) are the next generation of the line.
Bandit × Summer, due December 22–23, 2026 — puppies ready around February 2027. Follow along in the Nursery.
